Present Tense future is an acknowledgment that artistic learners are members of an ever-mediated culture. That iPods and camera phones and YouTube and Facebook have become ubiquitous elements of contemporary society. That we’re experiencing the most enormous change in history. That learners can have a profound influence upon one another. And that today’s students, using a variety of visual media and methods, are defining for themselves what artistic learning is, as demonstrated here in this pastiche of images created by visual arts learners.
